Remove any loose leaves and cut the cabbage into quarters. Brush with a little melted butter, season with salt, pepper and curry or a BBQ rub of your choice and wrap a slice of bacon diagonally around the cabbage. Pull the bacon out a little and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
Cook the cabbage over a low heat (110-120 °C) for approx. 5-6 hours until the thick part is soft. Brush several times with melted butter. If the heat is higher, the cooking time will be reduced accordingly.
If you like, you can glaze the pointed cabbage with BBQ sauce, honey or maple syrup at the end. And now: have fun grilling!
