Trondheim - a culinary insider tip

The charming port city of Trondheim in central Norway boasts a diverse gastronomic scene. From relaxed cafés and modern bistros to highly acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurants - the city offers something for every taste. But it's not just the city center that offers culinary discoveries: The surrounding countryside also has many a surprise in store. Olaf embarks on a special taste journey and explores the wild flavors of Norway.

Wild ingredients from nature

Together with Trondheim wild plant expert Jim Andre, Olaf sets off in search of edible treasures. Jim collects algae, mushrooms and berries and supplies them to Norway's top gastronomy. The spoils of their foray later end up on our MONOLITH ICON - refined with wild garlic mayo and seaweed from Jim Andre's own experimental kitchen. The flavorful result is impressive across the board.

Curious?

Trondheim is not only an insider tip for foodies, but also an important place for pilgrims, as the famous St. Olav's Way ends here.
