Pulled chicken burger

  • Ingredients

    500 g chicken breast fillet

    200 ml BBQ sauce

    130 ml apple juice

    50 g BBQ rub

    2 tbsp oil for the marinade

    2 tbsp oil for the pan

    Burger bun

    5x onions

    2x tomatoes

    1 pickled cucumber

  • Preparation

    Place the chicken breast in a bowl and mix with the oil and rub. Leave to marinate in a cool place for approx. 45 minutes.

    Once the meat has finished marinating, set the Monolith to 160 degrees indirect.

    Place the marinated meat in the middle of the grill and cook for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, pour the oil, apple juice and BBQ sauce into a pan and mix together. Place the pan under the meat on the deflector stone and cook both for a further 30 minutes.

    In the meantime, chop the tomatoes, onions and cucumber.

    Remove the meat from the grill and pull apart with two forks. Add the meat directly to the sauce in the pan and mix.

    Serve the pulled chicken burger. To do this, place the meat on the bottom of the bun and top with onions, tomatoes and cucumber. Place the bun lid on top and enjoy!
